Fixtures deserve more thought than they usually get. What to expect while the work is happening

A shower replacement is a contained project compared with a full remodel, but it is still construction inside your home. Expect dust protection at the work area and along the path to it, expect the water to be off for portions of some days, and expect noise concentrated in the demolition and cutting stages rather than spread evenly across the job.
